E-Mail » Setting up E-Mail clients » Configuring Pop3 » How do I setup Windows Vista Mail using POP3 protocol?

To configure an e-mail client for POP3 protocol, you will need the following information:

Server Type: POP3
Incoming Server: mail.unwiredwest.com
Outgoing Server: mail.unwiredwest.com

User Name or Account Name: Your FULL E-MAIL ADDRESS
Password: Your e-mail password

NOTE: If your email address is associated with your own domain, then substitute your server names for mail.unwiredwest.com. For example, if your domain name is SHINYWHEELS.COM, then your incoming and outgoing mail server will be MAIL.SHINYWHEELS.COM.

Note: The outgoing server needs to be authenticated with user name and password.

The setup wizard will launch on its own the first time you open Windows Mail. On the first screen, enter your name as you wish it to appear on your outgoing email messages. Click Next to continue.

Enter your email address in the space provided, and then click Next to continue.

At this step you’ll want to enter your incoming and outgoing mail server.
Incoming: mail.unwiredwest.com
outgoing: mail.unwiredwest.com
Click Next to continue.

Enter your email user name and password, place a check in the box labeled Remember Password if you don’t want to enter your password each time you check your email, and then click Next.

That’s it! Click Finish.

You’ll connect and download any email waiting for you.

And you're finished!
